    The Amazon Kindle

    By Greg | May 12, 2008

The Kindle is Amazon’s new wireless reading device. it comes with a sharp, high resolution electronic paper display screen that looks and reads like real paper.

The Kindle is really very simple to use. It has no computers or cabes and there’s no syncing involved. One of the things that I like best about the Kindle is that you can purchase books wherever you are. This is one of the best reasons that I’m glad there’s no computer involved. It doesn’t matter if you’re on a plane, train, or driving in your car. You can purchase a book anywhere, anytime.

There is certainly no shortage of books for the Kindle. Currently there are over 120,000 books available – a number that is growing everyday. Along with the books that you can buy you can also get top U.S. newspapers, top international newspapers, and content from over 300 of the most popular blogs.

Another cool thing is that you get free book samples so that you can preview the books before buying them, kind of like when you go to the bookstore. New York Times bestsellers are available for only $9.99.

One of the things that I like best about the kindle is that it is lighter and thinner than most paperbacks. This makes it very easy to carry around without being cumbersome. It also makes it easy to read while I’m in bed. I also like the fact that it holds over 200 books. This comes in handy for going on vacations or away on business. You don’t have to carry all the books you want to read with you. They’re all available right in the Kindle.

I’ve tried a couple of the other wireless reading devices out there such as the Sony and the Franklin but the Kindle is definitely the superior wireless reading device, by far.
