    Kindle Cover

    By Greg | September 9, 2008

Check out covers for all versions of the Kindle here:

One of the things that I first thought about getting after I bought my Kindle was a cover for it for protection.  At first there wasn’t really any places that I could find a Kindle cover.  After searching off and on for a while, I’ve finally started finding some covers.  The one that I have pictured below is the one that I bought and I really like it a lot.  The cost is $44.99 and it comes in four colors:  Saddle (looks like beige to me), Mocha (this one looks brown), red and black.  I got the black one.

One of the things I like is that you don’t have to remove the reader from the cover when synching or recharging the battery, the ports are easily accessible.  I also like that it’s leather and the inside is padded to keep my Kindle safe and secure.  There are some other places that I’ve found Kindle covers while searching the net but I really like this one.  Another place you can look is nstuf.com.

Hi, I’m not a big shopper because I hate going to the mall, so I prefer doing online shopping to buy a presents for my friends and family.

Thanks for all the advices. I did find some really cool deals at electronics.nstuf.com. They have plenty of products to choose and the prices are really fab. Also they have good descriptions of kindle accessories and electronics items.
I purchased red M-edge Genuine Leather Executive Cover after reading reviewers’ complaints about the cover. This cover truly is. The exterior is a soft slightly pebbled texture, supple and slightly padded. The tab latch is easy to use. The interior is a red leather. The cover interior has pockets/slots on the left hand side. The cover makes the Kindle look and feel more like a book. Ok, it also looks great and protects the Kindle very well.

      Thanks again!

Thanks – the M-edge version looks good. One question – do you have to hold the tab latch back out of the way? It seems that the tab latch would flop over onto the screen when open – does this happen?

      Thanks!

The tab doesn’t get in the way. Here’s a couple pics: M Edge Pics

Thanks for this review. I ended up buying this and I love it. I’ve read some other reviews of people not liking it too much but I’m glad I ended up getting it anyway. Now I just can’t wait to get my Kindle 2!

The Kozette comes with convenient handles, plus an elastic closure strap–a feature not included on the Kindle 2 cover from Amazon. Available in sizes that fit both the Kindle 1 and 2. I’ve purchased the Amazon cover and I think it’s very good. I like the fact that the Kindle 2 snaps right into it.
